Medicare GP Referrals

If you have a chronic condition, you may be eligible for physiotherapy under a Medicare plan arranged by your GP — commonly called an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) or CDM (Chronic Disease Management) plan.

With a valid referral from your GP, Medicare provides a rebate for up to 5 allied health visits per calendar year, shared across all allied health providers.
